    Motorbike thieves lose own motorbike!

File under poetic justice; Four motorcycle thieves in Jakarta, Indonesia lost their own motorcycle as they committed the theft of another bike. The four robbers were riding three motorcycles when they stopped another biker, forcing him off his bike. One of the thieves rode off on the newly stolen followed by the others… but the victim had grabbed one of the thieves’ bikes which he took to the police.

Police have secured the bike which will be used in evidence. The thieves face up to seven years imprisonment.

...always nice to read! (cheers for sharing bob)

"The thieves face up to seven years imprisonment"...WOW, they actually have real punishments over there!.

    Now imagine this in NZ-

"the thieves are now sueing for the loss of there bike, injuries sustained during the robbery and for emotional damages...the judge will be charging the victim at a later date for wasting police time and expecting some form of justice"

Reminds me of the joke about the biker riding past a zoo, when he sees a little girl squeeze through the bars and go into the lion's cage. So the biker pulls over, and leaps over the top of the bars into the cage. He punches the lion on the nose, grabs the little girl and leaps back over the bars with her, effecting a miraculous rescue.

A reporter is sent to talk to the biker.

"That was amazing" said the reporter
"I was just doing what anyone would do" said the biker, modestly
"So, just to finish, tell me what you were doing there" asked the reporter
"I was riding my motorcycle" said the biker

The next day, the newspaper came out, with the headline:

'BIKER STEALS LUNCH FROM AFRICAN IMMIGRANT'!
