Stoner just doesn't have the personality like Rossi, I'm sure thats why he's not universally liked as Rossi was in his hayday!
Much like Schuey in F1, if you annihilate the competition and don't make a fight of it, people turn off!
Rossi was always one to stalk until the last lap then pass, making a race of what might not have been!
Stoner is a fantastic rider in the Zone, if he can knock a couple more championships together then he may well be considered with the greats
As long as he can make it look interesting, then he'll get the recognition he deserves.
