TSS Red Baron King of Kaitoke Round 4, 18 March 2012

Hi all the TSS RED BARON KING OF KAITOKE returns this Sunday to Kartsport Wellington Upper Hutt for round four of five. With round three being a bit of a wash out and the rider numbers down I decided not to give points for that round. The day turned into a fun round with the track wet off and on all day which gave the riders that did attend a lot of practice in changing tyres.

So get those bikes prepped and ready to roll for this Sunday 18th March. Usual pits area being used so please park your tow vehicle in the top car park. Make sure your bikes have the appropriate nylon protection and catch bottles.

Sign on from 8am on track at 9am.

This round will go ahead rain or shine so please be nice to the weather man so we can have a nice clear hot fine day Sunday.

Weather willing I'll be there supporting Amy. What time are we starting?
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

Will have to make sure the bike still works and that I remember how to ride. It's been ages since I have ridden. Looking forward to it.

Looks like 3 Banks' on track tomorrow. Tubes has dropped her lap-times to 56secs. More importantly she is smooth and going to get fasterer. She's all go for B grade.

Hey hey - a dry Kaitoke race day. What a difference. Strangely the numbers were a little down. Confusing.

Yeah thanks for the loan of the transponder, it would have been interesting to get a lap time had it been linked properly, worth a try though.

Did anyone manage to get a photo of my daughter Tubes competing in her first race meeting. Dad forgot to bring the camera.

But you took the tent poles?
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death. (HT)

As a matter of fact I did. I have learned to keep a spare set in the van at all times.
