    Pirelli MT66 Route 130/90 x 16 tyre Crusier

Pirelli MT66 Route 130/90 x 16 tyre. Nice cruiser tyre.

Reason for selling is that it came on my sportbike. As you can see im getting real close to falling off the side of it.

Tyre has just under 5mm tread in the centre. It seems in good condition just does not suit my bike. I will be taking it off in the very near future.

Here is the same tyre at Cycletreads for more info, http://www.cycletreads.co.nz/product...road_tyre.aspx .

Offers please as not sure what its worth.

This tyre size comes in a front and a rear profile.
I have just fitted a brand new MT66 this size on the front of my cruiser, $230 fitted at Boyds.

I'm keen to get a spare as a back up. PM me with your idea of what you want for it. If it is a front. Cheers

Any idea whatit would cost to get this to Wellington? 130/90-16 is the correct size for my old 1100 (what did you have it on?)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Its on my GPZ400r. Completely the wrong tyre for the bike.

Wouldnt be to much, I work for a wholesale business so would just chuck it in a box and send. My guess is $10 to $20 at worst.

Ive got to get it off the bike yet, should happen in the next few days. Ended up with kid care dutys.

In what way? Isn't that the correct size for it?

Its the right size but being a cruiser tyre it doesnt allow for sportish bike lean angles.

They're a touring tyre as mch as a cruiser tyre, I had those on a pre82 race bike because I had some lying around, easy knee down and shit scraping with them on the bike

Oh ok, Ive only got 3mm of chicken strip at the moment with them. Bit worried I will drop the bike with them. But are they ok then?

If so I may as well wear it out.......

I found them ok,I'd done 9000km on them before I took that bike to the track and it's easier to push harder on the track, if you have no confidence in them you're probably better off replacing them

He's right, you shouldn't have any confidence in it. Play it safe and sell it to me

Well ive been told that as they have a lip and the tread doesnt go around as far as a sport tyre then I may drop the bike. Its not bothered me yet. But as Ive said it looks like im almost at the edge of the tyre and ive only just got the bike so expect to corner harder as I get used to it. Also lookin at some track days.

But if youve raced them and found them ok, maybe Im being to precious about it.

What pressure did you run in them if you can remember?

32F 34R but it probably should have been slightly lower for the track, I was using them right to the edge with no problems but couldn't push them as hard as the likes of Bridgestone BT45
