Well you need boxing gloves, a base ball bat, 2 litres of KY, alot of swearing and an Iwi liaison Officer to change an E07, it felt like I was trying to fit a 17" tyre on and 18" rim.

On the up side you can run them down to about 5psi and they wont roll of the rim.

Down side is with not much air in they sink in water so no good on a KLR650 in water holes

    :
Maybe it's a 17" rim thing? I've never had too many issues putting any of those on the KTM.

After careful consideration of all the factors influencing wear, traction, handling, puncture resistance, KY jelly & baseball bats I have decided that, for the DB1K I will run tyres that are round & black.

I love the scientific approach (round & black) works every time

Your starting to make the DB sound like, some sort of sado masichistic get together. The pain bit may well be right but I'm not sure about the other bit!

My big announcement - good news for me so good news for you!

Shoei and RK Racing Chain Sponsorship

In one of the most significant moves since the DB1k creation, this year Shoei and RK Racing Chain have sponsored the event. This sponsorship has greatly assisted with keeping the event free of entry fees, so a say a special thank you to these sponsors. If you need something that they offer it'd be a nice gesture to help them since they have helped us.

Check out the updated webpage www.db1k.com

    Cheers
