ZOMG LOL - remember our esteemed member 'dpex'? Read on...

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crim...s-like-fiction

"Police have abandoned their efforts to prosecute a man in absentia after he fled the country by yacht six weeks before his child sex charges trial.

Aucklander Christopher Michael David Peppiatt sparked an international mystery after his unmanned yacht was found drifting off the Cook Islands in January.

Peppiatt, 62, had sailed unannounced into the Cooks days earlier, claiming he had lost his passport overboard, and needed medical attention for a heart problem. He then made mayday calls after sailing off again, but when authorities arrived, Peppiatt had disappeared. The yacht's dinghy and life raft were still on board.

Authorities are unsure if Peppiatt faked his own death or had a heart attack and fell overboard.

    ...

Peppiatt was a campaigner against Child Youth and Family and ACC, particularly its motorcycle policy. His Auckland flat is empty, the phone disconnected."

He loaned me his wet weather gear for an endurance race in the rain. I guess he can't be all bad.

    Crap.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

He had an uncanny ability to come across as all touchy-feely and in your personal space bubble over the interwebs. He was a rampant poster there for some time then sort of disappeared, funny that.

He got right into the ACC protests, turned out at protests and rambled on.

Funnily enough, I was wondering the other day what happened to him.

Didn't think I'd seen him since he binned his Yamaha and took it to Frosty's. Then just left it there.

If you look at his profile messages you'll see it looks like my mate Raj took him in the bum up on his offer. Sick coonts.
