    EDIT: Bare metal tank...

I'm currently looking at getting the cheapest, shittiest pile of crap as a commuter and my only conditions are:
Uber cheap, uber simple (I already have a bike that's fast and needs work ) and cheap to fix.
What it has to do; take me to Te Puke from the Mnawatu and I don't care if I do 90 the whole way...it'll be cheap

nah couldn't do slash cuts, it would be a can, but slash cut exits for a good look, reckon take the header under and loop it back through; a bit like the panigale

    This could work.
It has two header pipes, this is because 22hp is very hard to control.

Bro I had one of these and rode it from Auck to Cape Reinga and back.[ equivalent]
They will do mean skids on 90 mile beach!
I had a ball and at no time did I feel like I was gonna be thrown off! However if you are worried, I suggest you don't open the throttle all the way.

I had a Chinker made one years ago, was the most uninspiring and sensible thing I have ever owned.
Full throttle is quite intense on these, nearly went up a fucking hill on a GN once...

I'm picking it up tomorrow, if I can put up with it for the 110km ride home I will give myself a high five.

    It'll do a skid

I predict it will be annoyingly reliabile, especially compared to the project bike.

And you'll end up liking it, and crying yourself to sleep at night with the guilt.

So no DOHC conversions, and most certainly no chromed grease nipples?
(speaking of, I polished the grease nipples on the ZX6 lower linkage)

Political correctness: a doctrine which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd from the clean end.

Geoff is home now! His air filter was completely fucked, so Bogan and I (mainly my dodgy idea...) taped a bit of foam to the filter frame, good bye miss-fire.
Rides well for a GN and is actually comfier than my 04 model was. Every time I open the throttle it makes me giggle, becuase it makes noise and nothing happens.
The brakes feel like a cave man rubbing his dick on a vaseline smeared frogs back, in the rain, during monsoon season, under a very bright light. So, they don't work so well.

    I like Geoff, he's cool.
He likes his younger sibling, they're getting on well.

Interestingly, it seems like all the chrome work except the 'zorst is fuckin' mint! Have already got a few test spots done with the autosol and the brightwork is going to be a walk in the park! Yay for Japanese made GNs...
