    Winter Jackets

With the chilly stuff looming in, noticed it a bit yesterday, its time to look for a warmer jacket.
I have three in mind, Revit Energy/RST Raptor and a RST Paragon.
    All around that $300-350 mark.
I have to wear a wool lined oil skin vest (which is brilliant) over my current and only jacket, just to stay warm and dry.
Leaning towards the Raptor (the end pic).....looks right snuggly
Liking that neck warmer thing going on also...can then do away with the roofless beanie.

Rubbish sack costs a couple of bucks. Put it over current jacket. Sorted.

I purchased the raptor jacket about 4 weeks ago, started to fall apart after the second time I wore it (the belt stitching comes away at the back) When I returned it the salesman said that they had had quite a few returns. swapped for an alpinestars drystar jacket and the difference in workmanship is VERY noticable.

I bought the Paragon with the neck thingy. Not bad for the price. Definately toasty on a cold morning but I did find it sprang a small leak in some heavy weather I got caught in.

So I ended up buying the Revit Energy Jacket. (Pic 1)
They (at Motomail) were very helpful when it came to service...totally redeemed my confidence in that store.
My Ignition Jacket will be fixed and posted back to me free of charge...(as it was always going to be)
Jacket is 11 months old....they checked the sales book.

Went to Cycletreads and bought some nice new summer gloves.
Orina (Kangaroo/Cowhide Leather)...very very nice to have on your hands.

My winter ones (I have yet to try) are here also...Rukka Gloves I got from FC-Moto.
