I'm sure it was the back track at manfield when I first saw that --- and just about creamed myself... 20 years on it still looks the business

Ps I've got a standard head and almost new piston (that I just found while cleaning up).. And cylinder...

whats the cylinder like ? useable ? think i gave you some pistions when u had a rgv , whats the pin size

15s from memory.
Cylinder covered in piston... Not sure if the coating is toast...
Forgot about the piston... That's where they came from.

This is what I had, around 1992-3. Got pictures of the engine somewhere but a search of threads didn't find them. Ran it at Masterton with a stock size cylinder but had cooling probs due to inadequate waterpump

Been chatting to TZ about a TS/RGV hybrid and finally found a few shots of an older effort. Shame I didn't know a bit more about tuning back then.

They have that silly 19mm pin yes? what pin size are you going to 20 or 22mm

yip it is small , never had a promblem in the past but no biggy if it dose turn to crap

Not so much the size just its silly unable to get much in the way of decent bearing size.

useing the standard rod , think the rm125 rod are the same part number ? or am i just breathing steam , think the main brearing had the promblem as i recall

If you made it 20 or 22 there would be more scope. Plus were you not destroking it anyway? Two birds one stone.

As I recall the rods all got superseded to the RM rod.

The early Cr80 bearing is the same part number now for the Honda Lead125. I think it might be the same for the MB50 too.
I just thought going to 20mm or 22mm would open it up for better aftermarket stuff.
