I may have swung too much in the GP though, have just got back from Hospital having had appendicitis, the Doctors cut it out last night. Did a good job though, as I am on my feet and out of there having had the 3 1/2 hour operation finish at 11pm last night. Keyhole surgery is the business!

Sorry ChrisC, the you know what parts are still to be done, and I have been told to stay away from work for a day or three. That comment will stir interest up in the natives...
That's a quick bounce back... I was in hospital for three days, though it had ruptured..
    Heal up quickly buddy.

Anyway, another GPR getting closer to the track.

Early carb issues resolved very quickly.
Apparently more engine work is to be done.

    But Scott was happy...

Yerss...tell that to the owner of the blown 450 Kawasaki sitting on my bench. I didn't build it but it looks like i'm rebuilding it after a rod broke.
from memory, i'd say the kawa rods are beefier than the NC30. And the oiling is better on the kawasaki cranks too.

Pics and I'll give a comparison Wgtn DHB to Canty DHB food....Have your sins caught up to you ?

The Kawa motor has the earlier rods I believe. Quote from Andy Bolwell - who also didn't build this one - "it's cheaper to buy another motor than buy a set of the late rods" Hmmm.
To relieve your mind, it's a south island build.
