An idea for you sidecar boys, make a dolly on wheels that is the height of your van. When you get home, roll it out onto the dolly, clean, maintain and modify it at a good working height, then when you load it up for the next meeting it rolls back into the van.

Yea old harris has one down here in the south island...its OK. Can't get the wheels off or work under it too easily though.
And old car lift would be aweome, I have put my chair on a lift at work and it was mint having it so high you can stand under it.

What a good idea, I wonder why nobody's thought of that before.

He sits a jack under the kneeler to get the rear wheel up, a block of wood under the chair frame to get the chair wheel off and the front just uses the jack under the front of the frame.

It's easy to get under the chair, apart from the wheel tracks, there's only a couple of braces across the frame. Easy oil changes.

What a great fucken weekend. Learned some things about our chair, as well as what it takes to chuck Alan off the side.

Cheers to everyone for great times and better racing. See everyone in a month...with some weight over our front wheel!

I'll do a full report on the weekend in it's own thread in the morning.

Thanks for doing it right in front of us, great view of the action as he bounced down the track
