can someone with an arsebook login and more tact than me polity remind robert that he is not affiliated with the nzsra and that he should not be making such brash statements.

he needs to correct his posts, clarifying that the Hagd is just not being run in conjunction with this event this year.

its not his call to dissapoint 100's of people, thats Berts job.

I am a little concerned that Robert has made the following statement...
"The 'have a go day for sidecars is not happening this year"

I believe this will pose a lot of confusion and lead the general public, who are interested in attending a HAGD, to believe that it is not happening at all. A lot of people have put some hard work to get HAGD where it is today, I would hate to see it compromised in any way.

As an affiliated member of the NZSRA I am requesting that Robert, who is not an affiliated member, amend the statement/s within this page to clarify that HAGD is not being run in conjunction with this event this year. Thank You

Haha And "WON" again, some thing you never seem to be able to do, but you can type real purdy though. Shame you fail to also mention the "FACT" that I reccognised myself ( Even with being given MEDICAL clearance to race again) that I was not the full quid, so went streight to a bottle store and purchased beer and just drank that instead of racing more that day- so I eliminated myself from the event due to my own safety concerns for all involved.

In light of a few things that have come up on the book of arses & seeing as I don't have an arsebook profile, I'll put it here.
There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding how the coroners court works & the running of mixed classic & modern sidecar classes.
The coroners court is basically a system that gets to the bottom of why a fatality happens, using all relevant witnesses & experts in the field concerned, gives answers & hopefully some closure to the family's of the deceased & makes suggestions or recommendations on how best to avoid a repeat of any such avoidable tragic event, be it a man falling off a roof, or a sidecar crash.
It is not a system that can punish & is not in the business of creating law, or enforcing it.
As a result of the Alan incident, the coroner recommended, based on the information he received, some of it perhaps a little distorted, that sidecar classes should not be mixed. This not enforceable or punishable unless written into MNZ rules, it is merely one mans educated opinion, for what that is worth.
Hope this clears up any confusion.
