Oh I wasn't without injuries. 16 weeks hospital worth. Believe what you want, as for me I know it wasn't my time to be taken home. Here's pic of the logging truck - between which front wheels I merrily slid.

Holy crap man... Looks like you were already sliding minus the bike, ripping and bleeding and all before you hit the truck. Can you remember what led up to that? (not laughing at you or poking fingers - we have all cocked up at something at some time)

I guess the LS2 hit the front axle? Shit - that must have stopped you in a hurry....

Witnesses simply said the bike washed out for whatever reason. Can't remember a thing. Was prob happily walking toward the light. I didn't stop at the front axle. Went right under somehow.

Best helmet I had was an AGV. It fitted great until the inner part decomposed and it went insane and decided to try and crush my forehead. Stupid helmet should have known better...

Arais are cool but waaaay out of my price range...
Have a look at Airoh's S4. Austensibly an adv lid but can be reconfigured to a damn fine road helmet with plenty of room up front for the nasally well endowered. You'll have to hunt for pics of it like that but it's worth some effort, excellent field of vission and very light, it's still my favourite.

Walking to the light? Sliding screaming towards the headlights more likely....

Hope you don't mind me asking but where did it happen? Mangamukas?

Logging truck incidents are epidemic at the mo, ok, not that common, but I know 2 people who have had run ins with them in the last week or so. One guy's tow truck spun out on diesel & hit one & one of my customers is too frightened to drive after her incident.

Oh, I have an Airoh in large for sale, can't remember the model but it's like new. Bit noisy but very light & starwarsish with an internal sun visor.

Might be interested myself. Will check size, can you check which model it is?
    Much obliged.
