National Register for help

Just thinking about an idea for those of us that use this forum, A national register of names of riders who would be willing to offer help to others who are in their area and the unexpected has happened like breakdowns etc.

The Ulysses club who I belong to have one and its a list of other members that you carry with you who are willing to offer help in the form of all or some of the following, Wksp and tools, go out and collect you, pick up bike, bed for the night etc etc or even just drop in for a cuppa on ya travels.
Could also add checking out a bike that you are interested in buying in their area and maybe bring back to their place after purchase etc.

I think this is a great idea and would offer some piece of mind to those who do like to travel the country.

The mods may be able to set something up in the forum that members can add to and then can print off as required.

I think that is a great idea. i like the idea of having a local number incase of breakdowns in the middle of nowhere or help getting to a bike shop.
I'm happy to be a contact in Nelson however I'm personally not into the couch surfing thing. Maybe a link to a PDF page with the area contacts would be easiest?
