Thanks again Dave. I'm excited to carry on the history of such a cool little bike.

Yeah they run air boxes and have ducting from the front of the bike. Makes a noticeable difference for sure. Mine is picked up from under the nose of the fairing which isn't ideal but others have a letter box in the nose for it.

It's the cruise missile. It's getting love, at alternate times between the others!

So I was out at Mt Welly on the RS50 today and hooooolllyyyy shit I'm in love. Pretty happy to do a 31.15 lap clockwise on it first day out. I reckon I did over a hundred laps on the 50 today, massive hype on it. A couple of 30-40 laps sessions had the lower back aching a bit. I only rode my FXR for about 15 laps at the end of the day and hated it hahaha, such a crapper compared I'm super surprised how much power 14.5hp feels like but I suppose it's the lack of weight which is doing it. Weighed it at the track today, 69.5kg with fuel, 137.5kg with me in my gear. That'll do it. Massive motivation to get my other NF4 bike going so I can palm off the FXR to my mates whilst I ride 2 of these beauties.

You were carrying mad corner speed on the 50 today. Took me two laps to get past on horsepower down the straight.

You don't know how happy and sad that makes me feel. But I think I am most happy it went to someone like you. It will treat you bad when you have an off day but teach you when you are listening.

Got pole position today with a 30.4 underneath Nathanael's 30.8. My first pole and absolutely loving the hell out of this bike! The lap record clockwise is 30.2 and both Nathanael and I ran down at 30.4 on a cold and not particularly grippy track. Gotta be happy with that!

I won the prelim race after an average start, ecstatic. I hashed the start big time on the first points race and placed second holding the same distance to Nathanael the full race. Sitting on the grid for the second points race, it didn't sound particularly healthy, burbling on mid to full throttle from medium rpm. I took the safe option and pulled the pin on the race. I haven't spent any time looking into it yet but didn't sound too serious.

    HYPED

Wow competitive from the outset. Stella effort.

Change the plug clean the pilot jet and check connection to stator. It fell out first day of the gp.

Fizzing! Can't wait to no longer ride a 4 stroke at all! I was upping the idle screw on the carb to try reduce engine braking on the FXR hahaha
125GP bike, GPRS125 F4 bike, RSGPR50 F5 bike. Not to mention all similar/same chassis going to help my riding heaps. I go backwards jumping between them all the time!
