My bike is now a 9 year old 600, so not the fastest, but will be a shit load of fun anyway. Oh lolz, see the Freddie spencer Arai on the back of 69. That's me, far more interested in scrivys start than that of the fuckin tool I was swinging for.
I was spannering for Scrivy at the time & found a c class ride to keep me occupied.
Never again.

A methanol burning 1100ish hotrod engine.... says it all in the straight line stakes....
Handling? Centre hub steering... as opposed to leading link front ends of most of the other competitors back then.
No fairing. Alot back then didnt.
It was blindingly fast in its time. But things change.
When I got my Porteous chair, I took 9 seconds off the lap record at Baypark at the nationals.
Nowadays the gruntier and lighter longbikes are faster yet again.

What that man said, i brought mine knowing it's always going to be near the rear of the field no matter who's on it. I might be a little strange but i like the older sidecars and the history that goes with them and i won't be trying to make mine go faster just presentable and reliable for who ever is on it and if they enjoy it then i'll be happy.
