wicking gear is great under leather. NOTHING is gonna help under textile tho. Essentially you are wrapped in a plastic bag, nowhere for the sweat to go.
Did a bit of loggingtrack riding in the hills behind Shannon recently. Sweated like a horse, got to the power station and downtrou'd in the shade just to let my liners and undies dry off a bit. Don't even want to imagine how bad it must have looked, but you know? I don't care either.

Silk? nothing wrong with silk Trev. except for the price, far far better than any synthetic man made junk. Silk linings have been used in mens clothing for many years, and if you can get a silk jump suit. then you will be comfy as. The modern equivalent satin, is crap. But I do agree Marino with possum fur mix, ( also expensive) very very good.
I have a black silk suit that is so light and cool to wear in summer.
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.
You've got the wrong textile then. Get the right textile and you'll be able to go through a greater range of temperatures than leather. Leave the waterproof liners in, or have gear where it's stitched in, and sure, it's not going to be pleasant.
I've ridden in 53 degrees in textile jacket and pants. Hot, but having the (hot) air flow through still provides cooling.

I've got an Xmas voucher for the mall so I'm going to go to Stirling sports and see how much their legging is, compression stuff. I've been using my running dri fit Nike singlet but funds permitting will see what else they have!
Well I'm not sure about your modesty mate, but if you needed socks 'cause yours was down by your ankles then I think you're just bragging Alternatively, for blokes, you might be talking about "a" sock... Still not sure what the hanky is for? Trust me, one ladies hanky wouldn't cover much of me
