Nice! Very good choice. I rode one when Kawasaki toured the country with selected models, loved it. I have a 07 14 and was seriously considering a trade but the change over was too much. Ended up keeping the 14 and adding to it with a 2010 Concours instead, hopefully be able to keep both but it's early days yet. If I have to make a choice it's not going to be easy!
You'll love the 14 I'm sure, handle well for a big machine and the motor is superb and it's a well judged update. Black is best on a 14 too, just finishes off the look of menace nicely...

    Thanks guys

    Back from Picton holiday(without bike).

Took the wifey for a ride today up around and behind Whanganui. 500km return for a coffee so Ninja service booked for Friday morning.
Both our butts were a bit sore but we havent done any longer rides for a while now so not that bad. no back pain even with passenger which is a surprise for me. A few bikes I have had required a back brace to do 2hr plus ride. Im tall with a dodgy back.

Beautiful looking bike dude & I absolutely agree about the belly pan flames on the green! They just look that little bit naff to me, guess it's a personal taste thing......

    Question?

Its outa warranty and the 6k service is oil filter and a few checks of fluids.
Is it normal for me to want to do the service myself?

No. It means it's time to get a new bike.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I thought about it a bit but its hard to justify changing a bike I still like. Its the first bike I have owned for over 2 years. Im only a divorce away from a H2 seeing as they don't have a rear seat.

Would this work on a H2?
