Vulcan 500, or (EN500) Kawasaki might fit the bill as well,

2007 Hyosung GV250 Aquila. Got it at an absolutely fantastic price on account of no rego (on hold), no WOF, no battery, no mirrors, missing right hand air filter cover, tank was dropped when changing spark plugs and has been re-sprayed with a rattle can and needs a back tyre. So needs a little work, but did start first go with fresh petrol & a jump.

I'll have time to work on it while she studies for her learners.

I'm 6'1 and an 09 GV250 was my first bike. Your wife will have no problems whatsoever with it. Easy to ride, nice handling and pretty good power for a 250 cruiser. Genuinely looks bigger than most 250's and all up a very underated bike. Best of luck.

WOF'd & Rego'd as of yesterday, She has her learners and is keen to ride. Pity my bikes in the shop now with a blown fork seal.

Good work on the bike for the wife. Pity about yours. I wonder how long will it be till she wants to get her full and take your bike out for a spin?
