Fuel additive for carb cleaning on a two stroke?

    Hi All,

Is it ok to use a fuel additive to clean a carb on a two stroke? (The bike has an automatic fuel/two stroke oil mixing system)

If so, what is the best brand to use.

    Thanks

Wasting your time. Screwdriver & 20min of your time to blow through the jets is the only answer.

the question is what is the question?

    +1

While a fuel additive couldn't hurt...a strip down and clean will ENSURE the carb gets properly cleaned out ...and you can set the floats etc while your at it

Less gas, same amount of air, lean mixture, hole in piston.
