    Honda MotoGP racer replica

Still have to wait till 2014. I still remember the excitement around some Honda releases like the CB750 and the CBX

Honda used to make many exciting motorcycles.

They have been playing it safe too long. Lots of nice concept bikes that went nowhere - sigh.

"Those patent documents revealed a V-four motor nearly identical to the firm’s current RC213V GP machine’s"

    ...And
"This new superbike will not replace the CBR1000RR. On the contrary, Honda insiders suggest it will be very exclusive, expensive, and exotic—think NR750—to serve as a “halo” product highlighting Honda’s considerable engineering expertise. A bold, daring technological tour de force, just like Honda used to do regularly in the good old days?"
    ....
A new Honda V4 "halo" project!!!

    NEW 750 V4!...damn yeah!!!

altho I hope it dosn't look like THAT!...that thing looks like a mash up of a aprilia V4/Ducati 1098/CBR1000....

...more of the "good old days" please

Hmmm...I wonder if they can still make them as good as the old VFR750s like mine?

I do hope they make it. Honda does manage some cool bikes and I'll pick up all the boys on one

That's odd. When I asked him about it a couple of weeks ago, he didn't think it was coming. It seemed all Blue Wing were importing were the 700s and the Asian 500s. Lotsa quad bikes and dirt bikes, bugger all road bikes.

Bastards won't bring in any of the Italian Hondas, or the Spanish(?). but they do bring in the CBRs from Japan so here's hoping they bring in the CB1100 as well.

Oh, and that V4 road bike, the price is unkown but the various magazines are guessing around $US100,000.

ill believe this when i see it

Honda are averse to public backlash as they have a mega worldwide image to consider with every halo model

the RCV211 was too much of a beast to let the public have them as playthings - & then Ducai go & release the beastiest ever roadbike in the desmodici. they can get away with that considering the price / exclusivity / low numbers of them

Honda wouldnt have done an RCV211 unless it was going to be mass-produced - so ill believe this when i finally see them

So Honda last made a good looking bike in 1992 - NR ?
The VFR800 takes some coming back from. If being a 2 wheeled Camry wasn't enough they made it FUGLY.
VTR1000Fs are good but then I had 2 so Im biased.
