Another day - another morning spent helping build the new mtb track... Loads of rocks to move... soft spots to fill in and culverts etc... knackered...

Did a 15km loop with one of the guys from work, pace was a big higher than I was comfortable with and about the 12km mark my speed dropped off for a bit, I'm knackered too

    Normally we go further slower

I just did a 6km road loop from home with more climbing than 85km of riding at the Rabbit Island 6hr.

    On a bike with gears

I stuck the rigid fork off the Kona Unit 29er on my 26" Stumpy hard tail and put on some spare 29" wheels and 32mm road tyres.
    Carbon seatpost and bars.
Might be one of the most expensive "city" bikes around...

WTF has this thread been moved to rant and arve?????

Anyhow 18km ride two wheel drifting at Eskdale today, just the right amount of tacky mudiness.
Pic of Crowley rd climb, tracks themselves in much better condition.
