    Blighty and it was wet. How surprising. Why didn't they run this test on any of the 18 days the UK get each year without rain.

    I love Top Gear but why oh why produce a car show in a country that is always being rained on. I lived there for a while and I owned a bike and ...well it was wet.

    Well well well, 200k for the rally cross, 150k for the atom, 16k for the bike....and you can ride it all civilised like to a bmwor meeting!

    Thats pretty cool!
    That guy on the bike has balls to be giving it death in the wet BETWEEN the cars.
    We have a couple of V8 and boy racer guys at work, they have no idea about bikes one of them was surprised he got smashed by his mate on new ish Ducati superbike

    Traction control may have helped the Atom V8..... You see how sideways it was getting through the gears from the onboard footage

    (And the Atom's V8 is made from Hayabusa engine components which is cool !!)

    yeah the atom is amazing, i would love a go in one.

    would be keen to see lap times / dry test

    Atom V8 will run a 9.3 quarter apparently... so it'd rip the HP4 a new one

    I have seen an atom driving away from the Rimutakas as I was heading up. Would have been cool to follow it up and see how fast it was, from the grins on the faces of the two guys in it, it must be almost as much fun as going up there on a bike

    Atom for me as long as I could drive it in my condition.
    You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
