The shock and swingarm give trouble first, but push past that and things start getting interesting.
I was riding the thing WAY past it's designed purposes though. But if someone is upgrading a bike, the design brief of it got thrown out the first time a spanner went near it.
You'd know better than me in extreme situations.
I would offer that I have read from suspension experts saying that many a blame pointed at the frame was truly the suspenders.
Such blasphemy as putting modern suspension on a stock Kawasaki Mach III makes it handle just fine. Non-hinged in fact.

Well, it was a cheap fun bike, suspension right out of the budget bin, brakes soft etc. One of the few larger capacity bikes that learners from 250s could step up to, as it was gentle if you wanted it.
I've felt the bike flex a bit, sort of steering the two ends when you're nudging it through quicker corners, but don't push it that hard any more.
