A fine dismount ,I give him a 10 for difficulty.
And 250 points for being a tinny cunt. I would personally send him $20 American dollars if he could do it again...

I'm not convinced he did it a first time. That car was already traveling a lot slower than the bike. After the impact, they'd be on the brakes pretty fucken hard. He'd have slid straight off the front and landed on the road.

Word in the Twitterverse is that Jeremy McWilliams has a Moto2 wildcard for Silverstone. Not bad for 50 years young...

Time to dust off the leathers, chaps?

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

So neat and tidy, super smooth and super fast, Legend.
Didn't he make it all look so simple ? Thanks for that.

I shudder to think how much he would beat me by, even if I was riding something with modern geometry.

I have wondered how they rode without moving their weight over the front wheel. Watch Hailwood and he is bolt upright through turns. All I can come up with, is lightning fast relexes. The front is moving on those old shitters, make no mistake. But they adjust and gather it so fast it doesn't get out of hand. Todays riders have more time I think, by having so much load on the front tyre, and the bike set up to move their whole body when things get to the edge.

Yeah Drew, he used to wear the shit out of boots and just sit like a sack of spuds.
I will always treasure the night yakking over a few/many beers at a Marlboro booze up with him.

The front was never a problem with big front wheels maybe thats it ? Well, to us normal humans anyway.

When Kawasaki first went to an 18" front on the Z1R from the 19" of the Z1000 it felt weird. The MKII Z1R went back to the 19" and felt better. They got it right a couple of models later but.

Big front wheel is stable, but does it offer more traction? I suppose the bigger rolling radius means the rubber touching the ground is in contact for longer, so perhaps it does.

I used to punt the old Titan along fairly well, and now that I think of it I don't remember the front washing at all. Used to pick up both when ya decked it out hard enough though, just to keep you on yer toes.
