I used to watch the US Hornet/919 site. The opinion of some seemingly well qualfied racing people that was that the best performance came from engines that had undergone a number of "heat cycles". One long trip was definitely considered the wrong way to run in an engine.

I've done it both ways, but unless you've got a dyno in your house and test multiple examples of the same model who knows?

My earlier reply timed out, but gorgeous TZR if you don't look too close. I tried to buy one 20 something years ago but the bikeshop staff ignored me for long enough that I walked out, after crawling around checking it out etc.

Of course they were restricted and then got a reputation for going pop. They were very cheap 10 odd years ago as a result. They can swing asking that for it.

Still look like sex on a stick. A mate bought a frame for RZ500 transplant.

In the "Optimistic Buyers" category I put my bucket up on a facebook group for a tidy $1500 (good buy at that price for a tickled FXR).

Get a message from a chap, "Would you take $600".

    ..........................

There's low balling, then there's plain insulting. Resisted the urge to call him a cunt and told him thanks for the offer.

    Got to love the facebook.

Last time he rode it as an RZ I still had my 350 (last century and then some) he put it over the bank up where the cliffhanger is run, I decided not to follow him.

Its been in his lounge ever since but sprouted front end like the TZR and braced frame / banana sw, but change of mind, frame only arrived earlier this year.

I'll post pictures as soon as it's done. . . . If this site, or even the Internet is still in existence.

I was reading this morning about a seller receiving the question, "How low can you go?"
He replied, "2mph, lower than that and you fall off."

Does not equate to being worth that though.

So not up to WOF standard then.

See ads like that piss me off. If you have a $50k bike for sale then for fucks sake drop a couple hundy on some nice LED turn signals and WOF the fucker for sale.

What's with matching brake disks? Don't all bikes have them...
