Pretty sure most of those bobber types wrap them because they are rusty in the first place
Plus it clearly to them looks so bad ass.
Funny enough so I heard if you wrap ti pipes in will disolve them in a month or so if they get wet.
My berg has Inconel header pipes. Now thats really bad ass.
Way more durable than TI

And I don't care where it's been parked, its too much for a dreary non runner which needs full rego from scratch. Looks just like my old one.

2016 Triumph Thruxton R........."Bike only has 1700 kms on it not counting kms whilst on the back of a tow truck. And is only 3 months old, not counting the amount of time it has been sitting waiting for parts. Only few trouble-free kilometres enjoyed without the mocking laughter and smirks of sales staff, parts personnel, and service mechanics at PRO-CYCLES ST PETERS"
........So, if you are the type of person whose sole priority for purchasing anything is desirability, and other factors like function, durability, safety, obsolescence, after-sale service, warranty etc are insignificant factors unworthy of your consideration.....then this is definitely the bike for you.
