there are no success fees for a classified, only for an auction.

Auctions are 39 bucks to host, plus a maximum of $49 success fees, and only last a maximum of 14 days, whereas a classified can last as long as you like.

Auctions can be withdrawn for $39 whereas a classified can be withdrawn for free.

The rationale here is that auctions generate more interest from their initial low price and the seller can end up getting more money if people get emotionally caught up in the auction process when compared to classifieds

Pete how much does it cost a dealers to have someones bike sitting in the showroom (with an audience of tens) on consignment?

% depends on several things mate. But remember, it's the selling dealer that has to back it's warranty, not the owner. So no point in doing it for fuck all.

Ah any dealer selling on behalf would need to make it worth their while with a reasonable cut. Why would they do it otherwise?

Gee that doesn't look too bad. OKif you could weld tthere's$100 steel, $80 galvanising, $100 lights wiring connectors and the towbar fitting, then 5hrs grinding measuring and welding. WWhat's your time worth?

They work well on buckets and dirtbikes if secured properly.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Yeah I'm guessing you wouldn't want it on your vehicle while you were trying to get a WOF. That steel sticking out beyond the wheels on the bike might give some officious inspector the screaming meemees.
