Yeah the euro TZR125 were made there as well, as the whatever they were called ugly 660 Road single was designed and made there.Pretty sure the Japs did the styling on that one as the origional race bike it was designed after looked just like a TZR125 with a Big four stroke engine.

Honda (Used to anyway, but not totally sure if they still) do have a plant in Spain that( i think) used to be the Montessa factory and staff, Thats were all the trials bikes were still made in the 1990's anyway.

Belgrada (Not sure of the spelling)are the importers and main dealer who did the manufacturing using euro stuff like mazzochi and paioli grimeca ancilleries etc.
They used to also do the Yamaha WSB that were at the time straightline missles, when they were well past their use by date.
They were later shipped to England and became the Boost bikes.

I remember reading about Belgarda being heavily involved in developing the TT600 and maybe earlier models for racing in the Paris Dakar rally. I never worked out if they were Yamaha or a separate company, but they were all about performance.

Agree. That "primary" chain is going to last about 3km

Too bloody short and will overheat and cook itself to death...and not a slow death. Ask Drew how it worked out for him on his sidecar.

II'm starting to miss my YZF750SP. 158hp would have been. . , well more than enough for getting on with. Made a GSXR feel pretty average till it got past 11000 rpm.
