    Could be a collectors item!

    You're not wrong.

$2995 back in the day, I think the seller would probably accept close to that. 545kms? good reliable buying for a learner if you could pick it up under $3k.

That really happened? You gotta be fucking joking...

I don't mind too much about the listed price. But labeling it a collectors item?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I'm hoping that it was sarcasm.
Having those things listed in "Classic & Vintage" is bad enough, but a collectors item?
    Pleeeeeze.....

given that the GN250 is without a doubt the biggest selling road motorcycle in nz over the last 35 years and how many thousands of people have had fun on them this is certainly a desirable collectors item. if anyone thinks otherwise they are misguided. Yip you may have the wankers that want the RRR whatever super carbonfibre expensive bike to show off on how much money they had but true collecting is in the eye of the beholder.

They were the icon of embarrassment! Was mostly cheap means of getting through their learners/ restricted on. A lot of riders I knew whose had a GN quickly ditched theirs after getting their full.

Popular does not mean collectible. Only time they become "collectible" are when a whole heap of unsold bikes are packed in a container ready to be dumped in the ocean, like those bunch of GN125H on Tardme.

I'd buy it for $1500 though less horsepower than the fxr150

There was a chick at school that everyone had a burn on, but I don't see her for sale on TM.
We called her "Vespa" - fun to ride, but you wouldn't want ya mates to see you hopping off...

go to southwards to the basement where the old commodres and vivas hang out, there's more chatter within visitors than there is upstairs where all the rolls royces and other flash shit hang out.

VD was pretty common in the 90s, but you wouldn't want one again just because you had one back in the day.

I don't recall seeing any CB250N in your haul. They were common and dreary back when I t'were a lad.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Interesting concept - the GN250 as a collectors bike.

Who would have thought a early Honda 50 step-thru would be worth money?
