Here is another bobber. Not finished. I wouldn't mind a bobber but unless they are finished not ready to sell or you would build your own surely.
Starting to wonder what my bike is worth now and if I should sell and build another. Maybe theres money in project bikes lol.
I would end up on a optimistic sellers thread if I was after a profit.

    EDIT:And another. They are everywhere.

Having a bobber is like taking the mudguards off your Raleigh Chopper.

That's got to be the optimistic pick of the bunch.

Shame about the lack of an apostrophe on the tank...

Yep! I like the before and after photos! "Take a whole bunch of stuff off. Paint the rest black and then relist for four times original price" the bobber sellers mantra.

    I'm confused.
    1. Why would you do that to a perfectly functional bike?
    2. 400cc?
    3. See above - looking real tough, then someone says, "..great bike, how big's the donk?"

I see that none of the bobbers have a front guard .... does the WOF not require one?

I think this ad may answer your question and probably a few more... like, you'd buy that as a LAMs bike?

    from the NZTA websight,
"these motorcycles must be in standard form as produced by the manufacturer. They cannot be modified in any way to increase the power-to-weight ratio."

kinda think that rules out a Bobber as lams approved

"It is an absolute head turner and I'm very certain this wont stay on the market long with summer just around the corner."

You would want to be cautious about where you put your foot down when you stopped. Burn your ankle off wearing shorts and jandals with that one.

I'd forgotten about the 'standard form...manufacturer' bit... though did wonder how long you could ride it with an L-plate on the back before the local popo became interested...

however, a fool and their money...

Moving on to the café racer lams market of value.
Experience says they can cost a bit to do but this has very little cash injected to justify the price and no appeal to me.
