I know TA will be wanting to try out his new gear, but might as well reschedule the ride for next weekend then. Hopefully the weather will be more pleasant.

Labour weekend next weekend, I'll be on a camping trip. I'll admit the gas money would be more useful for that too so what ever is fine, I'm off to turn my alarm clock off again.

Adventure Camping trip that weekend and we intended a single big day out riding not standing round mid ride watching bikes go round and round in circles as fast as they can, but thanks for the thought.

Labour weekend ride. Saturday is looking the best day so far. So I am going to do the Block or the big Block.
Will be leaving from the Z service station on the corner of Johns and Main North Roads at 8:30am.
Will update as weather forecast changes.

    How was the ride?

I'm a new rider, had a ninja 250 for about 6 months, sold now and my new MT-07 arrives in ~1 week. Not really sure of the good rides around here. What do you mean by 'the block'?

    Cheers

It's a nice ride well worth doing, riding through Lewis Pass looks like a rain forest makes you want to stop and take pictures.
