    Anybody have any knowledge about the bike meet up/bike show thing in New Brighton tomorrow? Time/place etc? Thanks in advance.

    I was very tired after yesterdays ride 420+ k's, not good having a tinted visor riding in mixed conditions .

    Strange seeing some road works getting done, yet the places they need to repair haven't been touched. They must think the uneven surfaces by Cheviot are a tourist attraction.
    Still a good day out though even if we did get stuck behind those funny stripped cars.

    Whoah, atleast you are still typing that's good. So far I've counted 6 motorcycle fatalities on the web and papers. Glad you are ok.

    Yeah its crap there eh, they were doing some there.. I came across lotsa road works going up to Kaikoura last week esp around the Hundalees.

    I think there was a lot of tar bleed there, but how about those hairpins (or near on) where within 2 weeks, and that is no exaggeration, of resealing the entirety of one there were lips, potholes and a weird chamber on the outside that makes people want to cut the corner (in the south lane) amongst other things...

    Whoever is calling the shots on the roads around there is a fawkin spoon.
