Yes, Auckland WINS!! F**k the rest of NZ. This is so good, I'll do the rest of the post in Comic Sans....

Awesome effort people, really. I mean, I use about half those intersections all the time with my local that I pass daily was at #7, but the hell if I can cause an accident. I must be doing it wrong.

Maybe we could use this list as part of a rally course and see how many bikes we can lose on the way. Loser is the only one who stays upright for the whole course.

His personal annoyance factor alone is grounds for such a statement.
I consider his work 'output' has had an extremely negative effect on the safety and enjoyment of the motoring public of N.Z.
I consider his behaviour to be evocative of the dogmatic behaviour of born again Christians. Good intentions - Bad outcomes.

One prefers to use its head, while the other relies on tales.

Wonder if in the stats they take into account the number of vehicles using an intersection. Its a bit pointless other wise to say most dangerous if not factored against number of safe journeys at same spot.

BTW woken up by scooter crash this morning, loudest ever bike crash outside my place, rider ok.

If they made a proper list based on crashes and exposure some of those with only two or three crashes would be higher risk than those with 50.

This is one of my local dangerous intersections ... and this is after it has been "Improved" a few times. A few have been killed here ... and collisions here on a regular basis.

Shit drivers are shit drivers no matter where in the country. I know that intersection well and there is nothing wrong with it if you negotiate it with a bit of care and attention.

I have witnessed a few non fatal accidents here, both by tourists right turning onto the bridge in the wrong lane.
