Saw the add today in a magazine, so went to suzuki dealership in Wellington.

He is expecting stock in December, as I definitely want to test ride. Maybe Ill be tempted to ride more often if I have a nice, new bike

Expects them to go very quickly and also stated suzuki did a similar thing with 2011 models, but his will be current model.

First come, first serve, and it seems like a deal you cant really lose on, as price will revert back to $18k once gone.

I was thinking of saving a getting an MT09 next year, but deals like this make it difficult to know what bike to buy!
    Hey there,

Twas me that you spoke to. Just had another enquiry on them and so I called Suzuki NZ to confirm arrival date. Must've drank one of my coffees when being told of their arrival date. It's Jan SNZ tell me not Dec. Humble apologies. Will def give you a shout when they turn up if you're still interested.

Just saw this deal today, might be too good to pass up (if there are any left).

Edit: Silly question do these have ABS?

Ended up buying a Street Triple in the end. I test drove a 2014 and didn't like the sports bike seating position given that I mainly do commuting/ weekend riding.

Thanks! It's been awesome so far

I was quite disappointed about the seating position etc as the new GSXR colour scheme looks really cool

Yeah and I love that they've done the foot peg hangers and pegs in an anodized black finish. Looks way cooler.

I just picked mine up yesterday and find the seating position excellent. I was also surprised that the bike feels quite a bit smaller to ride compared my old fireblade.

And yeah those anodized black aluminum bits look awesome

    Nice.
Idd get into trouble riding it fast approaching, through and out of corners. Very likely idd be without a licence if I bought one within a short time.

Have you got a demo sitting around in desperate need of test rides to keep the battery charged?
