Nicer than some concept motorbikes I've seen. A bit minimalist but I guess the lighter the better. Clean lines anyway. I'll stick to the GSR for now though.

At least its momentarily interesting to look at which is more than i can say for much of the mainstream bike builders offerings of recent times.

    You get an overweight pushbike.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

I quite liked it till I read the price. I was thinking maybe 1/4 of that and it would have 'legs'.

    Ummm.

    Errr.

No pedals, so not a pushbike. Possibly.

    It's more like a two-wheeled golf cart.

Looks to use more bicycle components than motorcycle, but as above no pedals.

In reality they've invented a new concept, the electric commutercycle, however with that price tag I think I'll pedal instead.

I was talking to a dude the other day who was stropping along at 40kph on one of these bad boys:

    http://www.volto.co.nz/electric-bikes-nz/volto-tde03z/

its a pedal assist thing but I can totally see the benefit. I pushbiked to work rain hail snow or shine (or wind) every day for 15+ years until one day I had had enough.

but if most of the effort was gone the virtues of easy access to the city, no parking hassle etc are very apparent

I wonder if there is an 800W version with a few Shorai batteries that I could do, say 80 kph on?
