If you want to notify police/request police attendance, yet the situation is not an emergency, use the local police stations landline phone number.

Most phones can google the phone number, or you could have your local stations phone numbers saved to your phone. Might be handy for future use.

Trolls arseholes and V rod riders.

Well usually I wait till Friday to have a rant but today just rips my shorts,.
Been south today from Dorkland. Did the kids cancer charity ride Cambridge to the Tron, done this for many years now.
Wifey on her bike to, for the last few years.
Had a good but foggy ride down this morning, Pokino to Damn near Cambridge, wiping away the dirty fog from my visor.
No worries really though, roads were dry, all the other motorcyclists on the road were having a cruisy day out ( most at Cambridge I'd wager).
So got there did that, didn't win ANY of the raffles.
Got nearly home and then yep, it happened.
I'd like to apologise to anyone I do know and love, who ride Harleys at this point in time.
While it's not always hardly riders that do this , it was today, not one or 2 , try 8 or more, exclusively V rod's today, but almost all of em wearing branded Ass less PRU imitation leather chaps and frilly jackets.
I make sure my wife rides ahead of me these days, she good at picking her lines and with me behind her most of the fuckwits who tailgate at 3 feet off your bumper have got to do it to me before they get to her. naturally they don't get to her these days.
We ride staggered, usually her to the right.
Please guys, girls, fellow riders, do you consider it OK to push through well spaced riders in their lane?
Cause I don't, I don't do it and I'd never consider doing it to obviously travelling together bikers.
I do make room and signal for other riders to overtake me in my lane if they're lane splitting and acknowledge my presence.
But I am truly sick to death of ignorant C's who simply take their god given line regardless of who's in their way or how close they come to another rider, experienced or not, aware of their presence or not.
It's fucking dangerous at the best of times, but these hardly rod riders seem to think they are allowed and so fuck the rest of us.
    Rant over.
Interested to hear what you lot think.

I absolutely agree! Many moons ago I was TEC for a learner ride, mother shepherding her ducklings if you like. We were riding the coast road from Langs to Waipu, a technically challenging ride for a newb but these guys were going along really well. Pack of wankers on sprotsbikes caught us up and absolutely dogged my tail pipe. I don't scare too easily but man these pricks were endangering every other road user in their vicinity. They eventually carved up the learners and took off. For the sake of a few moments out of their obviously far more important day than ours they endangered other bikers lives and risked one of us making a mistake from being distracted by cnuts behind, beside and ahead of us.

Having said that riding my Millie home from work one evening I saw many, many bikies coming up behind me. Fully patched and in a hurry as they usually are. I was treated with utter respect and even got a wave or 5

Worse, on the southern heading north in the left lane and they didn't have the decency to pass us in the right, oh no, inning and outing as we were staggered then cut missus off to get back into right lane.
I understand what you are saying dangerous, I too study, check and recheck before passing anything, particularly if I am going to have to go close, it's the here we are, move over, fuck you, coming through regardless attitude that gets me, Mom, I've had the same experience with gangs, passed me and wifey , plenty of room and waves to say , hey, just passing through.
Ha, drive???? instead of ride, are you out of your fucking mind???? lol.

Nah, the riding you described shouldn't be on. Unfortunately as a rider one gets to choose how to deal with bully boy tactics such as this. Personally, if I've spotted the approaching nitwits I'll choose to make room. How anyone else deals with it, well I guess it depends on the circumstances I suppose? Same with the follow up, each to their own

on the what? yeah so under you over her or visa versa all while the lane next to you was empty?
dosent mater the way its done, its the attude ya get, tells you more about them in 20secs than they will ever know, or relise themselves in a life time...

ohh and re gangs, a friend and her 675 was passed by a few the others pulling up beside and from behind closed in so as she had no room at all, just coming into timaru they stoped at a set of lights and she saw a chance so gassed it between two of em and gaped it... not cool
