Commuting tyres for supersport bike

...I'm running T30's - excellent tyres, so far I highly rate them.

T30's have been on the VFR for over 10k's now...STILL going strong, mostly commuting, with the occassional blast into the country & up the hills...very good all rounder tyres! (With great wear too)

The Michelin Pilot Power range are quite long lasting if you ride like a complete pussy like I do, and they're quite sticky too.

Otherwise the Pilot Road range are even better for that.

Im on a set. Check when they were made, its stamped on the side. I dont hate them. I reckon they have a better corner feel than PR3s I had on my old Hornet 900.

I did have a set on that Hornet when I got it and they were leathel. But they were 07 and hard as nails.

Given it is replacing an '08 Maxxis that's nearing the end of its life, It shouldn't be a downgrade.

It's like so 10 years ago man! Zillion improvements since.

conti road attack 2 or sport attack, highly recommended. would never go back to any other brand. $550 fitted at boyd motorcycles hamilton.
got them on the B King at mo and have used them on my last 3 roadbikes. best tyres ive used rain, hail or shine.

Like Arnie I have Conti Road Attacks on my commuter 650 Bandit .. They are fucking brilliant and I won't put anything else on .. HOWEVER .. they don't last - I kill rear tyres in 3,000ks ... that's a function of my riding - not of the tyre .. so while I would recommend them they are soft (and grippy as hell) ..

I have PRs on the 1250 Bandit - they are brilliant long distance and give a good level of grip - but I don't chuck the 1250 round like I do the 650 ...

Try a range of tyres and see what suits you ....
