Running velocity stacks on mikuni BS34s. Gone two up on the mains. Have standard pilot jets in 42.5 with the Canadian needle (adjustable) set on middle clip. Three turns out on the mixture screw. Ever so slightly rich, so I'm definitely into fine tuning and will take my time to tweak.

This is much better than running with 45 pilot jets and needle set at highest clip to lean them out. Ran far too rich. Had a definite mid range stumble and plugs were black.

I also put an 18 tooth front sprocket and the smallest rear sprocket I could find on rear. Used to get vibrations at 80 to 90km/hr but now I'm able to see what's happening behind me in the mirror at 110km/hr (no vibrations). Not quite so good for taking off on steep hills round town but I can live with that. Have a chain tensioner to take the slack out of the chain and stop chain sawing through anything.
