Dirt bikes stolen, Waimauku, 11 July

    Hey guys,

Just to get the word out I had my two KTM's stolen from our property in Waimauku last night. A 2012 250 XC-F and a 2013 Freeride 350. Both standard, so unfortunately no really distinctive markings. I would recognise the particular scratches/damage if seen though.

Freeride has black barkbusters, and oversize knobby tyres. Bout the only distinctive things.

    Any help much appreciated.

Catch the thieves, and kill them with fire.

Just rechecked the local stolen vehicles list, lots of trailers recently which makes me nervous.

Anything dodgy that stops out side my place gets a quick run through http://www.police.govt.nz/stolenwanted/stolen-vehicles

and also carjam if it looks like plates don't match. Zero results yet but just before the cops released that tool it could have caught some thiefs.
Subaru turned up outside house idling for about five minutes while local ferals have chinwag in street, then they pulled into side street and got picked up by another car after throwing a brick through someones window.
Turned out stolen from wairoa, if that tool been available then cops would have been right on them...

Out of interest being in a similar rural location as yourself, what was the circumstances? ie did the pond scum enter your property, whilst you were in /out etc?
