Yep as said, it's supposed to be here on the 10th of November. And slowly but surely I`m getting annoyed with not being able to ride... daily check up on where the bike is (somewhere near Saudi-Arabia at this point).

I`m just glad there aren't that many motorcyclist riding around here in Auckland if I compare it to NL. Only every now and then I hear a bike in the distance and go "fuck you... I want to do that as well". And me and my flatmate are looking into buying a cheap dirtbike/dualpurpose to tidy up and ride.

Can anyone advise on a good entry certifier in Auckland? One that doesn't mind me looking at what they are doing.

I finally have my baby!!!! And it's road legal!! I`m so happy, sadly though the battery is completely dead so I`ll have to work on that a bit.

Just saw this thread and also saw that you've worked through the process. I just brought my bike (USA Registration) in from Malaysia last week and did the import all myself (fairly easy) with just a stop at the freight handlers, customs and the bio inspection. I had a Carnet which may have made it easier.

    Hay Jeeron,
Just saw your post now... I brought it 2 bikes from UK earlier this year and it was simple enough.

So when are you taking her down to the south island?

Aye it appears simple enough, but I didn't know that yet, plus didn't want to risk it. Anyway, South Island isn't happening until next year or so. First want to finish my internship and then I can really be free and travel around.
