Honda CBR600F4i or CBR600F Sport. Any good?

    Hello,

    Long time no see.

So who has had a CBR600F4i / CBR600F Sport before? What went wrong? What did you like? I thinking specifically of the one with the split seat.

I see a few higher mileage ones on ebay that are temping my clicking finger.

Yes yes, get a GSXR you softcock blah blah.. I've had two GSXRs before and maybe I would just like a change and be able to park it outside without all the metal turning to poo

    they are great bikes.
depending on the model you get, two common issues are the CCT which is easily and cheaply swapped out for a manual CCT, and the reg / rec issues Hondas frequently encountered. again, a cheap fix.

    I loved mine.

I had a CBR600F4 (not an F4i). It was great. Just the usual problems with older bikes like the regulator/rectifier failing and needing a new cam chain and tensioners.

So I won an auction for one, price was good but not earth shattering. But here comes the "I'm sorry it's sold already".

    Yeah right.

I also had a CBR600F4, loved the bike and regret having sold it.

Whaaaat? Surely when you win an auction they have to come through? Classified sure but not auction?
