Finally came out of lurking - newbie here (NightRaven)

    Hi everyone,

I've finally decided to come out of the shadow and thought I probably should get more involved in the talks. I'm a newbie myself, started lurking when I was doing my research prior to getting my licence. I've got my licence since may, riding a CBR250R!, and am considering of swapping to a Yamaha R25/R3 (due to Learner restriction) when it comes out in NZ! I could have ridden one right now had I went home to Indonesia . I know its still a 250 range, but at least it doesn't sound like a cingle cyl scooter and twin headlamps .

My dream bike once I get my full Licence would be the CBR600RR or the R6. Still kind of undecided on which one to grab at this stage.

    So yeah, that's me.

Hello there. Welcome, if you could just find a seat somewhere on the back row, and remember to turn your mobile off, that would be great thanks.
One of our assistants will be along shortly with a pamphlet and the donation tray.
And please remember, all posts will be treated with the upmost disrespect and unpredictability. Chur.

P.S. In the unfortunate event of one of your posts developing a problem, bend over and kiss your ass goodbye.

If you do ride a Speedie you will HAVE to buy one. Stupid fun bikes. Not that I'm biased...

I'll admit I love me some triple cyls Either that or the Daytona 675 (but probably a third bike - heard its got a bit more of a kick compared to most 600's).

Better a FULL license is gained FIRST ... both those are a little more demanding of rider ability than anything in the LAM's class ...

Not just the Licence, I'll admit I do want those bikes as soon as possible but gaining the confidence and skill is more important before stepping up. Might keep my baby for a while longer. That being said I dont mind trying other bikes too

personally think, generally, most bigger bikes are more capable than their riders (include myself in that) ... mebbe first learn to ride the arse off what you've got, THEN move on?

just saying .... oh, and welcome aboard

Nothing wrong with looking ahead towards the future, but I do understand what you mean, I like to dream away.
