The CAMS club turns 25 years young this year and to celebrate we're holding a 3 day Classic and Post Classic race meeting at Levels Raceway Timaru December 5th - 7th 2014. Its the weekend after the Burt Munro so come on down and make a week of it.
Firstly a huge thanks to our major sponsors - Biketranz, TT Industries, Caxton Press, PUB Charity, Classic Cover Insurance.
Also a big thanks to our race class sponsors - Marshlands Engineering/Quad U, Dole New Zealand, Jeff Marshall Motorcycles, NZ Classic Motorcycles, ESPC Services, Wilcock Truck Painters, British Motorcycle Parts, Bryan Ashworth/Ray White, Timaru Metal Recyclers, Motorcycle Exhausts, Spring Lynne Motorcycles, Dynoworx, NZ Cylinders cheers All, we couldn't run this event without your help.
We're pumped about this event, it'll be the biggest dedicated Classic and Post Classic event in the South Island, with bikes, sidecars and riders attending from all over NZ, even the odd Aussie.
We're especially excited about the Pre war and vintage classes and have a great field of Classic sidecars keen already + all the Classic and Post Classic classes. There is also Past Masters parade class and supporting F4 and Junior clubmans.
There will be a North Vs South Challenge cup over the weekend, points series and handicap races for all classes.

We are still finalising details, but at this stage there is a 40 ft container leaving Palmerston North half full of Classic sidecars. It is going to the Burt Munro (Wyndham) then coming back up to the Southern Classic Festival at Timaru then back to Palmie.
There is limited space available in this container for classics and post classic solos. This container is subsidised by CAMS and the Burt Munro. Cost is yet to be full worked out but is likely to be around $250-300 per machine. Limited space first in best dressed.
