    Cold Kiwi picture report

    Cold Kiwi 2014
2014 forecast was looking pretty grim…. Warm northerly winds and Rain, But rain was not going to stop me going, as it got closer to the date the forecast eased, As it turned out we hardly got wet

We had a couple of showers on the way down but not enough to get the wet weather gear on, It Rained at Taumarunui but we had stopped for fuel so waited it out

A couple of pics on the trip down

Whatawhata to catch up with steady. Munster and I went Via Viands but caught up again at different spots on the way down

Just cell pics this time.... didn't want to risk the workshop canon.

While setting up the first bike down was a Harley

    Tent set up

Some pics from the event, I will add video when I find time, will take a day or so…. Or week or so :P

    Friday night band

Viewing area for the hill climb, have some video to add later

Viewing for sow races and other events that I didn’t get much footage of

One bike that blew a piston out while doing a burnout

A few more Pictures (mostly bikes)

A couple from the trip home

Mean! I love a good hill climb fail!
Might have to mark next year down. So the new site is all good then?

Great site, not exactly flat but plenty of room.... a bit of fun getting to the top if it was wetter but I guess that will be sorted before next time.

a quick video, still more people arriving so got fuller than this

It's the same on the truck forums, everything seems to end up on FB these days, easier to post and share images etc...

Good pics by original poster here and some good ones on the kiwi fb page too.

The new site is pretty cool

Great photos - thanks for sharing. Just loving looking at everyones photos they are sharing on facebook. As Spyda says, been pretty quiet in here about the Kiwi. Guess we all are still in shock from the most AWESOME weekend ever. (plus I don't know how to add photos on here like you have above).

Massive thanks for everyone at the Club who made this happen for us all. A full year of hard work and dedication, a great new site and one hell of a kick arse rally back up and running.

I'm still buzzing, and kept laughing out loud at work all day from these new magic memories created.

Best weekend I may have ever had, on par with my first Cold Kiwi 5 years ago where I discovered my true happy place.

My album on facebook is set to "public" - feel free to have a look
