    Something different

This would be rather interesting to ride.

Somebody has put a lot of effort into it. A modified 2 stroke 200cc, would pass everything except gas stations.
At that price I think it will be sitting for a while.

My Gilera Runner 180 Sp is pretty standard apart from upgraded Malossi clutch bell and higher speed rollers. Good for highway use, and again, not really fuel efficient.
I get about 19km/litre from mine, with stock jetting and exhaust.
To be honest, most of that bike's mods would be best for track use, but there ain't much scoot racing here in Unzed, so is it worth all those mods? Prob not really. Trouble is, the transmissions in the Gilera Runners are their weak point, and something is eventually gonna let go when you start trying to squeak every last ounce of power from a 200cc two-smoker.
And regardless of the mods, you'll never get that money back when it's time to sell. There just isn't enough population base or "enthusiasts" around who'd happily drop 5K on a 2nd hand scoot. Shame, but true. $5K would get you a half decent used road or dirt bike with way more capability.

Yup, don't get me wrong, I'd love to have those mods in mine, the yahoo factor would be worth it, but for how long? Just check out Youtube for high performance scoots, looks like fun while it lasts.
Then common sense kicks in, and my concience tells me "She's gonna blow, Capt'n"
