    Caution - Slippery Road SH1 Waikato (24/10/2014)

Hey guys, just a heads up for anyone travelling through the Waikato today. There has been a whey spill over a 7km stretch of SH1 near Putararu. They have spread grit. Please take care.

    No whey!

(I feel ashamed of that pun to be honest.... I could do whey better (stop it!)).

Good thing I'm heading north this weekend instead of south.

No doubt the media will milk this incident for it all it's worth.

Probably just as well your not heading that whey haydes. The roads are bad enough without buttering them.

Surely weetbix would be more effective than gravel?

    I'll get me coat.
