    Flat slide carb identification?

    Hi all,

I recently acquired a DRZ400SM, and it had an aftermarket Keihin Flatslide CR carb on it.

I'm trying to identify it a little bit further so i can list it for sale, as I had to return bike to LAMS approved for insurance purposes.

I've measured the diameter of it at 39mm which seems right as a mod regularly done by other DRZ owners.

Seems to have all throttle cables attached. has a electronic plug attached (maybe TPS??), and also has this snorkel thing with it too.

There's a part number on the side that says: 29F 8UB04 and i've searched the googles using that but come up with nothing.

Any ideas what I should say about it when i list it for sale? I'm having trouble identifying it.

Alternatively, if someones wants to buy it, flick me a reasonable offer.

    Cheers,
    L

I would be in denial that I had even seen it and it would still be on the bike.
How is a learner expected to know the previous owner changed the carb anyway?

This is the standard drz400 carb off the dirt version see http://www.drzparts.com/2011/01/drz4...rences-fcr-cv/ for more info, yours standard is meant to be a 36mm cv type carb, and yes the sensor on the end of the throttle shaft is a throttle position sensor.

cool, thanks for the help guys.

Is it worth anything? worth selling at all?

or better off just hanging onto it and chucking it back on when i get bored?
