Te Atatu Interchange - new lane layout

For those of you travelling city bound from Te Atatu South - as in using the left turn spiral - be aware that the lane layout has been re-aligned for the new approach to the city bound motorway lanes. The lovely sweeping left drop down spiral now has a much tighter radius curve as you approach the motorway.

Has been changed today - Thursday 27 November - as was old layout Wednesday night and tonight is new layout.

Bet it catches out a few drivers in the morning - although you'll be controlled by the merge lights.

At least the camber seems a bit better than it has been for the last week or so...

It's a feckin' huge pedestrian underpass going "under" (go figure...) that sweeper!

I'm still looking for a full set of plans of the completed interchange.
