You should probably concentrate on your riding instead.

    What he said. Seriously!

Unless of course you are going to use it solely as a learning tool to analyse what you did wrong and how to improve next time.

Publishing at this stage in your learning will only put pressure on to make your videos 'exciting' and that won't end well.

It's repositioning your ball bag, while cornering at warp factor 9.
A quick scratch of the sack doesn't count.

This is a possible alternative answer:

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

If youre gonna do it, attach te camera to the outside of your helmet, and do the voiceover later in editing.
Most of the ones I have looked at are barely able to complete a sentence without a dozen umms, ahhs, etc.
Bit hard to concentrate on both riding, and stringing together coherent, intelligent, interesting sentences.

Im curious though, what do you have to say thats so interesting that people will wanna sit in front of a laptop and watch you ride and ramble? - why not just go ride the fucking thing, do a trackday, go on a big touring ride. Ive never understood the need to snapchat, facetime, facebook, selfie, twitter, vlog every meaningless moment of ones life. Id rather just enjoy most of it as it happens

Some people need to understand that the rest of us don't give a fuck about their harrowing experience of taking 3 hours to choose between buying the blue or green helmet.

yes....agree, unless you are being paid to review something then maybe?
I had a camera and was into the video thing, used to add music when I got home...Got bored watching, was way way better riding the damn thing...really just did it for myself.
As for watching, that is what Dakar is for.

    +1
I tried a gopro for a while. But I've got better things to be doing than sitting in front of a computer for hours editing video.
